The Packers rebounded after a pretty poor game two weeks ago with a win over the Minnesota Vikings this past Sunday. Hopefully the Pack can keep on a winning path with only a few games left in the regular season.  It would be nice to shoot some playoff football again in Green Bay.  Here are the photos.  Thanks for looking.

Since, for no good reason, I have neglected to blog my photos from the last two home Packer games, I have decided to post both games in one big blog post.  Both games resulted in another two wins for the Pack.  It seems like they are on a pretty good roll, but only time will tell if they keep their win streak going with all the recent injuries the team has sustained.  Hopefully they can find ways to keep winning.  Here are the photos.  Thanks for looking.

The Green Bay Packers barely came away with a win over the Saints this past weekend.  The Saints had a chance to win on a field goal with a couple of minutes left in the game . Luckily for the Packers, the kick was un-successful.  The Pack is on the road for a while so for me it means a little break from shooting NFL football. I know this post is a little late, but as they say, better late than never.  So here is a quick selection of my favorite shots from the NFL week 2 Packers vs Bears game. This Past weekend the Green Bay Packers took on a tough San Francisco 49ers team. Unfortunately, the Packers offense had a hard time scoring against a very solid 49ers defense resulting in the Packers losing their home opener.  Hopefully tomorrows game against the Bears will turn out differently.  Here are the keepers from the game.  Thanks for looking.

The Packers wrapped up the pre-season last Thursday against the Kansas City Chiefs.  As much as I enjoy shooting football, the preseason is hard to get excited about.  I am glad the regular season gets started up for the Packers this weekend.  The regular season is when it gets exciting to cover NFL football.  Here are my favorites from the Packers vs Chiefs.  Thanks for looking.

The Green Bay Cellcom Marathon took place here in Green Bay a couple weeks ago.  This event has become huge in the past year with almost 10,000 runners running the event.  This year, as in previous years, I tagged along with a buddy of mine and official photographer for the race Mike Roemer.  Along with helping Mike during the day with his shooting duties, I shot some video with my Canon 1D mark IV.  I’ve been trying to get more proficient with video since I see it as something that us still-photographers will be asked to do along with shooting photos on jobs.  I will be the first to admit, I have a long way to go but going out and shooting is the only way to learn to do it better.

One of the bummers during the day was the race officials having to shut down the race about halfway through due to the unseasonably warm temperatures.  Only a hand full of runners continued on through the course and crossed the finish line as most just dropped out after hearing the course was closed.  This cut down on the different amount of opportunities we had to shoot the runners throughout the course.  I would have liked to have gotten some better footage at the finish line, with more runners crossing the line, but unfortunately that didn’t happen.  Well, there is always next year.  I hope you enjoy the video.  Let me know what you think with a comment below.  Thanks for looking.
